There are very few venues that tick all the boxes for a queer DIY club night in Yorkshire but this place certainly does. The Common Place is an independent, collectively-run social center in the heart of the city centre. This means by holding events at The Common Place we are helping to keep it open! There are no profits and no big wig's creaming off your pink pounds. It's also an awesome place to have a party!
An attitude of tolerance and respect is fundamental to The Common Place club rules which is ace because fundamentally that's what Sapphic Traffic is all about.
The Common Place is a members club. To enter you either need to be a member, or be introduced at the door by a member. If you want to join, you need to do so at least a few days before an event. Information about how you can join can be found following the link below. It's really easy and only costs 2 quid!
